HAVE A PROJECT? LET’S TALK

Our mirrored prints ensure full protection

The serigraphic process remains a solid printing technique by which ink is forced through a number of screen meshes onto the material beneath. Stretched over a frame, areas of the various screens – commonly nylon or polyester – are blocked with a stencil, then the screens themselves are laid on top of the material and ink is applied over them. There’s great flexibility in the number of screens employed while squeegees uniformly spread the ink over the whole surface.

This decal consists usually of transparent polycarbonate or polyester – and it is this layered structure that allows it to remain intact while being transferred onto the target surface. The print itself is mirrored on the back to ensure complete protection. The print itself is mirrored on the back to ensure complete protection. The product’s auto-adhesive feature is then provided by a double adhesive which is applied on the printed surface.
The advantages, aside from the generous quantity of ink that may be applied, consist in the thickness of the decals (up to 700 microns), as well as their capacity to withstand sun and inclement weather.

Between permanent, removable, reflective, static cling and prism decals, usage is wide for Electronics, Electrical Appliances and Power Tools, Automotive and Medical devices and machines. Having the option to employ materials such as polyester, polyurethane and polycarbonate, silkscreen membranes are great overlay options for keypad switches, remote controls, printers and medical products.

Our company provides solutions for difficult applications and ensures permanent colors by matching a broad selection of label stocks with a variety of ink systems. Making full use of the opportunities thus provided, 2D employs high end materials which allow its self-adhesive membranes to last as long as product itself.
