Our non-adhesive electrical insulation solutions, Polypropylene and Polycarbonate films, have physical and dielectric properties which are suitable for many electrical and electronic applications, including capacitor coil insulation, liquid filled transformers, motors and generators and the insulation of flexible printed circuit boards.

We tailor our foils extensively to create the exacting folding lines and particular shapes which ensure the perfect insulation of the targeted area or of specific electronic and electrical devices – unique material construction, tailored size and shape.

Our insulation foils provide superior dielectric strength (that is, the maximum electric field the insulating material supports), an elevated temperature rating, and excellent moisture and chemical resistance.

2D’s insulation materials, that is, our polypropylene insulation and polycarbonate insulation foils, meet the highest flammability and environmental standards, namely UL 94 V-0, UL 94 VTM-0 and ISO 9773.
